Why Do I Write About Money?

“I discovered I had the ability to earn via writing"

Do you have an ability that comes natural to you? I do.

I have always had the ability to write. I nurtured it while I was younger, but I tossed it away when I became older.

I didn't think my level of creativity could put food on my plate, but it did.

When I entered into entrepreneurship, the freest option to market my business was to write a blog.

Being independently employed, it was up to me to make the business work.

I discovered I had the ability to earn via writing.

Did I mention, my writing ability allows me to create content for my instagram page: moneymatterswithmelinda

Why Do I Care About Your Growth?

If you thought your imagination disappeared when you embraced adult responsibilities, it didn't.

Sometimes the 9 to 5 grind compels us to be logical and there's limited time to explore and expand our creativity.

I am not saying to buy a box of crayons, a colouring book, get to colouring and all of a sudden your creativity will return.

I am saying look into what you're good at naturally.

You may discover while on the job you're great at organising the office in your admin line of work. You come up with unique strategies to make the office run smoother. That's a possible solution you could end up providing to other businesses.

You might be a teacher who's come up with a proven method to make math fun. There might be other teachers looking for your solution.

Money Management Should Bring out the Creative in You

“Another source of income could do some good.”

Budgeting your money is a lifetime practice. It is not something you're going to get right every time. Surprises occur. Expenses we didn't plan for pop up.

Our budget becomes strained and we need a solution.

What do we do?

Plan.

Plan for another source.

Another source of income could do some good.

It could mean building a side business.

It could mean learning a new skill to earn additional income.

It could mean going back to school to finish your degree and applying for a better job.

Your money has the ability to multiply much like a seed.

I write about money so you could make the best use of the money you earn.
